Howard L. Bates, Sr.
Howard Lee Bates, Sr., 69, of 18 Howe St., died Dec 24, 1991, at St. Francis Hospital.
He was a retired textile employee and a Baptist.
Surviving are two daughters, Geraldine B. Watson of Salisbury, NC and Linda B. Clark of Germany; a son, Howard Lee Bates, Jr. of Fredericksburg, Va; and three sisters, Reba B. McCarn, Bernice B. Leonard and Ruth B. Horne all of Lexington, NC.
Private services and burial will be held.
