Solomon Prower was a teenager when he came aboard the Mayflower was born somewhere between the years 1600 and 1606. No baptism records have ever been found. His mother was Mary (maiden name is unknown) and his step father was Mayflower passenger Christopher Martin. Solomon apparently took after his step father in his dislike of the church authorities. A few months before the Mayflower sailing he is noted for some run-ins with the archdeaconry in Great Burstead. The Martin family all died their first few months in Plymouth Colony. Sadly, Solomon himself would die Christmas Eve 1620.
