George Franklin Dorsett, 90, of passed Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro.

Graveside services at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery; Rev. Dewey Cheek and the Rev. Bil Bullard officiating.

Native of St. Louis, MO.

Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Dunn.

Survivors include his sons, Larry Dorsett, Donny Dorsett, both of Greensboro; stepdaughters, Rosemary Cagle, of the home, Romona Paoli, of New Jersey; stepson, Randy Jeffery, of Fairfax, VA; seven grandchildren, including grandson, Tony Eugene Hiatt, of the home; and four great
grandchildren.

ASHEBORO - The Rev. Franklin Dorsett, 90, of 3434 Meredith Country Road, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at Randolph Hospital.

A graveside service was held Feb. 14, 2008, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Dewey Cheek and the Rev. Bill Bullard officiating.

He was a native of St. Louis, Mo., the widower of Mary Dunn, a retired painter and minister, a member of Golden Gate Baptist Church.

Surviving are his sons, Larry Dorsett and Donny Dorsett, both of Greensboro; stepdaughters, Rosemary Cagle of the home and Romona Paoli of New Jersey; stepson, Randy Jefferson of Fairfax, Va.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
