TAKEN BY DEATH

Charles Holbrook, aged 72, died at his home in Thompson this morning at 2 o'clock, after a lingering illness. Mr. Holbrook was justice of the peace in Painesville and well known in Painesville, having visited here a number of times.

He is survived by his widow, Belle, and six daughters, Mrs. Bert Brewer of Walnut St.; Mrs. Will Brewer, E. Walnut St.; Mrs. A. A. McKee, Jackson St.; Mrs. Leo Brimes and Mrs. Earl Engel of Cleveland, and Mrs. Clyde Robinson of Willoughby; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
