"Elmer C. Barr, sixty-two, Peach bottom R1, Fulton Twp., died Saturday at 6:10 p. m. at his home after an illness of four days. A son of the late William and Emma Dunlap Barr, he was employed as janitor of the old Fulton Twp. High School building. Surviving, in addition to his wife, the former Alice E. Shea, are these children: Harry William and Veryl Barr, all of Peach bottom; Emma; wife of John Matson, West Grove; and Myrtle Barr, at home. Three grandchildren and these brothers and sisters also survive: Calvin Barr, Drumore; Chester Barr, Muir, Mich.; Clara, wife of Emlen Eshleman, Willow Street; Myrtle, wife of Milton Bowers, and Amy, wife of Charles Groff, both of Lancaster, and Mabel, wife of Wayne Byers, Quarryville."
