Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Catholic Church on Wednesday for Augustave (August) J. Adams, 81, a native of Galliano and resident of Golden
Meadow who died today at 2 a.m.
Visitation will be today at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano from 1 p.m. until funeral time.
He was the husband of Lorencia Pitre Adams; father of Thelma A. Griffin and Aline A. Bruce; brother of Nolan, Nolis, Sidney and Sarah Adams and Nola Foret.
He is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two
great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emilus Adams and Agnes St.Pierre Adams; two sons, Robert and Leonard Adams; and two brothers, Gillis and Alcide Adams.
