Mrs. Almira P. Bennard or 4209 Brazilnut Ave. died early Monday morning after an extended illness.
Mrs. Bennard has resided in Sarasota for the past 15 years, coming here from Reedsville, Ga.**, and was a member of the Collins Methodist Church of Bolton, Ga (Fulton Co). (**There is a Reidsville in Tattnall Co., Ga)
She is survived by one son, George M. Bennard of Tampa, Fla., one brother, Rufe Phelps, Atlanta, Ga., and one grandson, John M. Bennard of Sarasota.
Funeral services will be held from the Wilson-Hughes Funeral Home, 3731 Tuttle Ave, South Gate, Wednesday morning at 10:30 with the Rev. J. B. Smith of the Eastside Baptist Church officiating.
Interment will take place in the Crocker cemetery.
