Claude "Doug" Caison Jr., 71, of Sulphur Springs died March 13, 2008, in Dallas.
The son of Claude Wilson Sr. and Annie Long Caison, he was born April 24, 1936, in Wellington. "Doug" graduated with the Wellington High School Class of 1955.
Mr. Caison retired as a long haul truck driver with the Coca-Cola Company. He was a Mason and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Wellington. He served his country in the National Guard during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors are his wife, Beth; two sons, Douglas Caison of Greenville and Steve Caison of Wisconsin; a daughter, Lynn Johnson and husband Alex of Rockport; brother David and wife Karen Caison of Wellington; a brother-in-law, C.H. Jones of Log Cabin; and two grandchildren, Jeffery Johnson and Mia Caison.
His parents; a brother, Charles Caison; and one sister, Margie Jones, preceded him in death.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Lynch Funeral Service chapel. Burial will follow in Lynch Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
