APPLING, Ga. - Mrs. Kathryn Blanchard Bartles, 75, wife of the late Mr. Mack Bartles, entered into rest on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 4, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Damascus Baptist Church with the Reverends James Gilbert Daniel, John C. Davis and Roger S. Bennett officiating. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. Bartles was a life time residence of Appling, Ga., member of the Damascus Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Bartles was the daughter of the late Dr. Pierce Gordon Blanchard and Moralle R. Blanchard. Survivors include a son, Mark L. (Rhonda) Bartles, Martinez; two daughters, Cindy (Tommy) Norris, and Kathy (Doug) Ansley of Martinez; four sisters, Lillian Dunstan, Augusta, Louise Bennett, Appling, Carole Davis, Appling, Violet Sparks, Martinez. Additional survivors include grandchildren, Brittany Bartles, Brooke Bartles, Adam Norris, Chandler Norris, Michael Ansley, Evan Ansley and Savanna Ansley. Pallbearers will be J. Pierce Blanchard, Jr., Phil Blanchard, Judge James G. Blanchard, Jr., Joe Blanchard, Barney Dunstan, Adam Norris, Michael Ansley and Lint Sparks.
