Donald Veryl Anderson, the son of Ray and Elvera (Johnson) Anderson, was born on November 23, 1945, in Litchfield, MN. He grew up in Danielson Township and attended country school. He graduated from Grove City High School in 1963. Following high school he served in the national guard and took over the family dairy farm from his parents. On August 17, 1974, he married Darlene Laabs. In 1994, he sold the dairy cows but continued to farm. He also worked for Willmar Manufacturing and later for Bobcat in Litchfield until retirment. Don was proud to have donated more than 20 gallons of blood to the Red Cross. He enjoyed collecting and repairing clocks, traveling, antiques, and going out for dinner. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Don also enjoyed all of his animals including his dairy cows and his cats.
He is survived by his children Tony (and VaLoris) Anderson of Atwater, Shannon (and Cary) Kasbohm of Carlton, Daniel "Dano" (and Samantha) Anderson of Grove City, Dylan (and Kristin) Anderson of Atwater; grandchildren Laura Anderson, Heidi Anderson, Peter Anderson, Preston Paul, Levi Anderson, Allison Anderson and Lucas Anderson. He is also survived by his sister Lois Keske of New Hope, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Vernol Anderson, Delores Loock, and Clelton Anderson.
