KING WILLIAM COUNTY - Ruth T. Brown, 61, died Thursday, Jan. 26, in her home.
She was a former resident of Mascot.
She was a member of Escobrook Baptist Church in Mascot.
Survivors include two daughters, Corine Jordon of Plainfield, N.J. and Caroline Brown of Center Cross; four sons, Stanley A. Minor of Jamaica, William S. Thornton and Willie C. Brown Jr., both of West Point and Steve Brown of Center Cross; four sisters, Violia Burrell, Inez Thornton and Christine Redmond, all of Philadelphia, Pa., and Lucy Thornton of New York City; and three brothers, Dickie Thornton of New Jersey, Buck Thornton and Jack Thornton, both of Philadelphia.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Escobrook Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Vincent Funeral Home, West Point.
