This old cemetery has long been closed since about 1890 when the Armstrong Cemetery near Rushville became the 'official' cemetery of Rushville. Several seasons of very wet weather in the 1880's caused the cemetery to sink and therefore to be abandoned.
The Dickson Graveyard record was made by Betty Dagenais on April 9, 1967. Gaghagen, Elizabeth 71y 4m 26d-26 JL 1884
