Darwin Alan Aalsburg, 55, of Eddyville, died at his home with his wife.
He was born to Tunis and Martha (Van Helten) Aalsburg. On August 20, 1976, he married Debra Renee Allison in St. Louis, Missouri.
He was a graduate of Eddyville High School, class of 1969. Darwin went to school at Indian Hills Community College, Centerville campus, he also worked a year at Walt Disney World in Florida.
Darwin worked at and owned the Eddyville Lumber Yard, retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Oskaloosa.
Survivors include daughter, Jill of Lihue, Hawaii; son, Alan of Ames; and brother, Russel of Eddyville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Emerson.
Memorial services for Darwin and Debra were held togather at the Eddyville Funeral Chapel in Eddyville, with the Rev. Richard Grimes officiating.
