Sylvania Telephone, issue of Friday 15 Jan 1926: Little Boy's Neck Broken in Fall - One of the saddest deaths to occur in our county recently, was the untimely taking of little Beverly Eanes, five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert B. Eanes of Woodcliff. While playing with several little companions Thursday afternoon near his house, he lost footing and fell from a tree and had his neck broken, resulting in the death of the little boy almost instantly. The sympathy of all our people goes out tenderly to the heart broken parents and grandparents.
