Hoe Chung Kong, 87, of Salinas, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013. She was born September 1, 1925, in China.
She was a member of the the Chinese Association of Salinas and the Chinese Senior Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kung How Kong.
She is survived by her brother, John (Judy) Gong of Salinas; sons, Kenny (Lucy) Gong of Santa Cruz and Chun Hung (Chuen Tai) Kong of San Francisco; daughter, Choi Eng (Hok Jue) Gong of San Francisco; eight grandchildren, Wilson On, Guy, Jennifer, Edmond, Roxanne, Wilson, Sheryl and James; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 29, 2013, at Alta Vista Mortuary, 41 East Alisal St. Salinas, CA 93901.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 29, 2013, at Alta Vista Mortuary, 41 East Alisal St., Salinas, CA 93901.
Burial will follow at the Chinese Cemetery, 64 Natividad Road, Salinas, CA 93906.
