Clifford M. Allen

Clifford M. Allen, 62, of R. 4 Chilton, a Town of Charlestown farmer, was pronounced dead on arrival Thursday evening at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, after an apparent heart attack.

He was born in the Town of Charlestown on Aug. 12, 1912 a son of the late Trubert and Theoline Moe Allen. On Dec 17, 1942 he married Bernice Tyson at St Augustine Catholic Church, Chilton. She died Dec. 13, 1966. On Jan. 18, 1969 he married Velma Dorn Jaeger. Mr. Allen farmed in the Town of Charlestown his entire life.

Survivors are his widow; a son, David of R. 2, New Holstein; a daughter, Mrs. Alfred (Nancy) Mercure of Appleton; a step-daughter, Mrs. Christian (Beverly) Glasow of Hilbert; two step-sons, James Jaeger of New Holstein and Gerald Jaeger of Chilton; two grandchildren and five step grandchildren. Three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
