Leo J. (Lee) Lowe, 74, long time Aberdeen insurance executive, died Wednesday, Oct. 14 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Services are to be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial is to be in LaChute, Quebec, Canada. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Kreuger-Schriver Mortuary. Friends may call at the mortuary beginning Thursday noon.

Mr. Lowe was born May 15, 1896 at La Chute, Quebec, Canada. He came to Aberdeen in 1920 and had been associated with Northwest Mutual Life Insurance of Milwaukee since that time. He became district agent for the company in 1925 and held that post until 1960. He received a 50-year service pin from the company in 1970.

He was active in the Aberdeen Elks Club for many years and was a member of the Aberdeen Country Club. He was also a member of the Aberdeen District of the Life Underwriters Assn., and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, which he served for a number of years as chairman of the finance board.

Survivors include seven nieces and nephews, all living in Canada. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Two sisters lived in Aberdeen. Sister M. Yvonne was a member of the Presentation Sisters and Mrs. Elizabeth Booman (Vrooman) also lived here for many years.

A Knights of Columbus Rosary for Lee Lowe, 74, longtime insurance executive, will be said at 7:30 p.m. tonight, followed by a public Rosary at 8 p.m., both at the Kreuger-Schriver Mortuary.

Requiem Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial at LaChute, Quebec, Canada.

Mr. Lowe died Wednesday at St. Luke's Hospital.

Burial is to be in LaChute, Quebec, Canada.

Mr. Lowe died Oct. 14 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Pallbearers were Robert Rohl, Henry J. Schmitt, Vi Stoia, Tom Seiler and F. W. Hatterscheidt, all of Aberdeen, and H. Neal Jones, Sioux Falls.

The Kreuger-Schriver Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
