She was born February 18, 1926 in Oklahoma to the late Frank and Opal Dewberry Stamps.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Stamps and her sister, Inez Gustovich.
She is survived by her loving family including her husband of 39 years, Harold Anderson of Tyler; daughter, Pat Roughton of Austin; son, Paul Nelson of Graytown, Ohio; siblings, Robert Stamps of Tyler and Ann McMillan of Belton; grandchildren, Matthew Richard of Austin, Rebecca Thompson and Beverly Robson, both of Chicago; and by 9 great-grandchildren.
