Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Mr. Atkins was born on April 8, 1913, in Lawrence County, the son of Clarence E. and Roxie (Gladish) Atkins.
He was retired after 30 years with the railroad and was a member of Odd Fellows.
Mr. Atkins is survived by a brother, Kermit Atkins, of Claremont.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Wilbur, and one sister, Mary Mabel Hobbs.
