Birth: Dec. 25, 1887, Russia
Death: Sep. 10, 1936

The Obit says:

Louis Klabanskey, aged 49, prominent member of the Jewish circle here and one of the best known junk dealers in this section, died shortly before 9 o'clock Thursday morning at King's Daughters Hospital where he had been a patient for nearly a month. Suffering from streptococci, he had been ill for about three months. Four weeks ago, when his condition became serious, he was removed to King's Daughters Hospital. During his stay there, he underwent numerous blood transfusions, but for some time he has been regarded as in a critical condition with but a slight chance for recovery. "Louie" Klabanskey, as he was known to his wide circle of friends and acquaintances, was a native of Russia. Unaccompanied, he came to the United States when but a boy, settling in Martinsburg shortly after his arrival in this country. Twenty-five years ago he established a junk business which he operated continuously until stricken with his fatal illness. In recent years his place had been located on West Race street, near his home. By virtue of his long residence in Martinsburg and the extent of his business operations he was one of the best known men in this section. He was a member of Bash Yonkev Synagogue. He is survived by his widow, Mr. Annie Klabanskey; two children, Tevis and Miss Jeannette Klabanskey, this city; and two brothers, Ben Klabanskey, of Atlantic City, N.J., and Harry, of Arizona. The funeral will be held Friday at twelve o'clock noon from the chapel of Funeral Directors Kogelschatz and Coffman, West Martin street, with Rabbi Framm, of Hagerstown, Maryland, officiating. Burial will be made in the Jewish Cemetery east of Martinsburg.
