Leonard and Marge Antczak of Duluth Avenue will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 18th.

The couple plans to mark the occasion with their three daughters, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graceland Park, Dundalk, Maryland resident Leonard M. Antczak died of cancer on November 6, 2011 at Gilchrist Hospice Care in Timonium, Maryland. He was 83.

Following his graduation from Mount Saint Joseph High School in Baltimore, he served in the U.S. Army.

A corporal during the Korean War, he was stationed in Anchorage, Alaska, where he lived with his wife for one year until his discharge. During his service he received many awards and medals, including a sharpshooter badge. Following his service he was employed at W. Dabrowski Chojnacki Funeral home for 29 years.

A member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, he was a church usher and member of Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society,

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margaret B. Antczak, daughters Deborah Straw, Michele Shewbridge and Yvonne DeMartino, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Following services at Sacred Heart of Mary Church, he was buried at Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery.
