Services were conducted yesterday for Mrs. Grace Atwell, 74, of Minerva, a former resident of Syracuse, who died Friday at Glens Falls Hospital after a long illness. Burial was in Minerva Baptist Cemetery.
A native of Minerva, Mrs. Atwell lived in Syracuse many years before moving back to Minerva. She was a member of the Minerva Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Harold; two daughters, Mrs. Melvin Weigel of Maumee, Ohio, and Mrs. Barbara Kemp of Cooperstown; two sisters, Miss Olive Jones of Minerva and Miss Alice Jones of Minerva; a brother, Clarence Jones of Minerva, several nieces and nephews.
