DOAN- In West Brandywine township, on Feb. 5, Clara, wife of Charles F. Doan, in the 64th year of her age.

Releatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral without further notice fro her late residence on Thursday, Feb. 8. Meet at the house at 2 o'clock p.m. Interment at Caln Friend's Burying Ground.

Mrs. Charles Doan died at her home in West Brandywine township yesterday. She was 64 years of age and had been ill since October last, when she suffered a stroke of apoplexy. From time to time she showed improvement, but not sufficient to give her relatives and friends any hope of her ultimate recovery. She was a patient with her sufferings and worried less than did her family and friends. Besides her husband four children survive. The are: Mrs. John Hand, of Daveport, Iowa; Mrs. Floyd Wigam, of Chalfonte, Pa.; Walter Doan, the well-known ball player, at home, and Elmer Doan, West Caln Township.
