Obituary

Warren Lacy Erwin was born at Miami, Saline county, Missouri July 11,1856.He died at his home northeast of Cashion Sunday afternoon, November 25, 1917; age 61 years; 4 months and 14 days. He had pneumonia fever and his sickness was of short duration.
He came to Oklahoma and settled on his homestead in 1889 where he has since made his home, and will be greatly missed by his neighbors and friends who have known him so long.
His sister, Miss Nannie Erwin, of Brunswick, Missouri, and a nephew, Horace W. Wolfskill, of Kansas City, Missouri, arrived less than an hour before he passed away. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge of Cashion. He united and was baptized in the Christian church in his younger days. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. Erwin, a brother, Isaiah, and a sister, Mrs. Hannah Wolfskill preceded him several years ago, and he leaves one sister, Miss Nannie Erwin, three nephews; Horace W., Lacy E. and Casper G. Wolfskill to mourn their loss.
His remains were shipped, accompanied by his sister and nephew Tuesday afternoon to Brunswick, Missouri, where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon and the remains will be laid to rest in the Bethel cemetery.
The relatives have the sympathy of our community in this their sad hour of sorrow.
