L. R. Cushman Dies Thursday at Ukiah

Lester Robinson Cushman, 80, lifelong resident of Glenn County, died Thursday in a Ukiah hospital. He was a member of one of the pioneer families of the Chrome district.
Born April 11, 1878, at Chrome, he farmed there for many years, until his retirement, when he moved to Willows.
He is survived by his wife, Hattie of Willows; three sons, Clyde and Harold of Chrome and Howard of Red Bluff; two daughters, Mrs. Goldie Henderson of Corning and Mrs. Ethel Baker of Castella, and a sister, Mrs. Helen Luce of Elk Creek.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 in the Millsaps cemetery at Chrome. - Transcribed by E.
