He was born Feb. 17, 1928, in Little Falls to Clarence W. and Mabel (Hall) Abrahamson Sr. He attended school in District No. 37. After his schooling, he worked on the farm until the age of 17 when he entered the Navy on April 2, 1946. He was discharged on Jan. 26, 1948. He returned to farming in Darling Township. He sold his farm and moved to Randall in 1997. In 1999, he moved to the Pine Grove Manor Apartments in Little Falls where he lived until entering St. Otto's Care Center on May 18, 2001. He was a lifetime member of the Randall VFW and served on the Morrison County Planning and Zoning Committee. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church where he served on the council and was an usher.
Survivors include four sisters, Lois Sanderson, Little Falls, Elaine Boody, Little Falls, Carole Morawczynski, Anoka, and Diane Zaske, Anoka; and a brother, John Abrahamson, Big Lake.
His parents and two brothers, Robert and Gerald Abrahamson, died earlier.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bethel Lutheran Church in Little Falls. Burial will be in Darling Township.
