Mahlon Dean Abernathy, 68, of Pulaski, died Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Giles Memorial Gardens.
He was the son of Renna Abernathy and the late Wilson Abernathy.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Jewell Abernathy of Pulaski; sons, Ricky Abernathy of Cornersville and Steve Abernathy of Pensacola, Fla.; brothers, Bob and Lendall Abernathy, both of Pulaski; sisters, Kay Mackintosh and Faye Smith, both of Pulaski.
