JOHN W BAUER--84: died Friday [4-19] at Medina General Hosp. MrBauer was born in ValleyCity & resided there all his life. He had been employed at RO Bowman GristMill-Medina & the former BHL Elevator-Valley City; he was a farmer. MrBauer was a member of Zion Lutheran Church-ValleyCity.
He is survived by his wife Edna (nee Law): son JohnC-ValleyCity; grandson JohnT-ValleyCity; gr-grandson JohnJ; brother Irvin Bauer-Medina & sister-in-law Ruth-Medina. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Katherine Knappe, Bertha Nosker Kindig, Edna Reusch & bro: Howard Bauer.
Graveside service will be Monday morning [4-22] at Zion Lutheran Cem-ValleyCity; the Rev William Kulju will offficiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Medina Cnty Health Dept, in care of Home Health Agency-Medina. Bauer Funeral Home-Valley City is in charge of arrangements.
