Graveside services for Floyd Atchison, 84, will be held at 1 p.m. June 14, at the Family Ranch in Thoreau, with Ike Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the private family cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 13, 1997 and from 8-10 a.m. both at Rollie Mortuary.
Atchison died June 11, 1997 in Albuquerque. He was born Dec. 6, 1912 in Capulin.
Atchison was a resident of Raton for many years and retired a Trading Post owner in the Thoreau area.
Survivors include his sons, Lee Atchison, of Calif., Thomas Atchison of Camp Hill, Pa; and daughters Daleah Henry of Rio Rancho and Karen Holley, of Bloomfield; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Atchison was preceded in death by his parents, William Samuel and Della Atchison.
