Dorothy Dolores "Dee" Bowersox, 91, departed her earthly life on October 9, 2015. Dorothy was born in Oklahoma City on October 7, 1924 to parents, Norton and Gertrude Hammack. She married Jean Louis Bowersox on June 25, 1949, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They had two children, Deanna Jean Bowersox Repstine and Michael Leigh Bowersox. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, Kenneth Hammack; her son; and a granddaughter, Janessa Grenne. Dee is survived by her daughter, Deanna and husband, Brent Repstine, of Lubbock, TX; her sister, Jerry Turney, of Oklahoma City; her brother, Larry Hammack, of Dallas; grandson, Jeremy Jones & his wife, Larcina; and great-granddaughter, Journey Jones, of Odessa, TX; granddaughter, Jeanna Williams; and her great-granddaughter, Jaci Williams, of Princeton, KY; and great-grandson, Seth Williams, of Seminole, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at the Union Soldiers Cemetery in Oklahoma City at 11:00 AM, October 14, 2015, under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, OK.
