Terry L. Beckwith, 26, Elderon, died Sunday evening of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident near Elderon. At the time of his death, Mr. Beckwith was employed by Kolbe & Kolbe Mill work Wausau. He attended Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School and had served in the United States Navy from 1973 to 1977.

He recently moved to Elderon from Milwaukee. He was born Oct. 16, 1956, in Evanston, Ill., son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Beckwith, Elderon.

He married Sheila Norman on April 17, 1982, in Milwaukee. She survives. Survivors besides his wife and parents include a son, Justin, at home; two brothers, David, Elderon, and James, Wittenberg; a sister, Mrs. Norbert (Madonna) Zynda, Route 1, Wittenberg; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Cornell, Elderon. Services will be at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg, and at 11 a.m. at St. Florian's Catholic Church, Hatley.

The Rev. Thomas Abraham will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home, where there will be a wake at 8 p.m. today.

The Elderon Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8068 will conduct military rites at the cemetery
