WASENMILLER – Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Herber Wasenmiller, 73, were held Tuesday afternoon in the Mennonite Brethren Church, Sixth and East Broadway.
Rev. P.C. Grunau officiated and burial was in the Starlight cemetery north of Lahoma. The Brown Funeral Home was in charge.
Mrs. Wasenmiller, who came to Enid from the Lahoma community 17 years ago, has long been a resident of Garfield county. She died Saturday night at her home, 702 South Grand.
Survivors include four sons, Alex of Pawhuska; George of Dalhart, Tex.; Jacob of Breckinridge, and Henry of Enid; two daughters, Mrs. B.E. Dyke and Mrs. Simon Johnson, both of Enid; a sister, Mrs. John Schneider of Garber and a brother, Henry Erhardt, Mountain View.
NOTE: the surname of the four sons is "HERBER" as was the maiden name of the daughters. They were children of Mrs. Wasemiller's first husband George Herber, who is probably buried in Major county.
