Carroll A. Ellingson, son of Andrew and Carrie Ellingson, was born at Ausitn, Minnesota on April 24, 1900. He moved to the Flandreau area with his parents about 1903, where he received his schooling. On August 22, 1922 he was united in marriage to Viola Garthune. They farmed in Riverview Township for many years and in December, 1957 they moved into Flandreau where he has since resided. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife; one brother Idor Ellingson, Farmington, Minn., and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant daughter.
