MILO -- Services for Christine McGee Cohee, 77, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, at Jehovah Baptist Church with Pastor W.J. Wallace and the Rev. Edgar Franklin officiating. Interment will be at Jehovah Cemetery under the direction of Kirk Funeral Home.

Born Oct. 15, 1928, in Milo to Jessie and Evelida Franklin McGee. The Lord called her to rest on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, at her home. She married Ralph Cohee in 1946, in Gainesville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a sister, Georgia Roberts; son, Donald Ray Cohee; and grandsons, Chris Cohee and Vincent Epps.

She professed Christ as Lord and Savior and united with Jehovah Baptist Church at a young age. She attended Central School in Milo, and after 20 years of employment, retried from civil service at Fort Sill Air Force Base in Lawton. The family moved back to Milo after she retried in the early 1980s.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Cohee, Jessie and Kara Cohee, and Charles and Fredia Cohee; and daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Alfred Epps, all of Milo; 18 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.

Bearers are Charles Cohee, Jessie Cohee, Larry Cohee, Alfred Epps, Charles Cohee II, Larry Cohee Jr., Toby Cohee, Brian Epps, Alfred Epps Jr., Lance Epps and Matthew Watson. Flower bearers are Lucretia Austin, Prudence Watson, Charlette Cohee, Alshiree Epps, Benecia Porter and Valerie Cohee.
