FILLMORE NATIVE CALLED BY DEATH
Charles T. Bures, son of Frank Bures and Josephine Marc was born October 28, 1890, on a farm south of Exeter, Neb. He passed away Monday, March 16, 1964, at Warren Memorial hospital, Friend, at the age of 73 years, 4 months, and 17 days.
August 10, 1910, he was united in marriage to Pauline Hromadka. To this union were born fourn children, Lucille, John, Charles and Richard. Lucille and Charles passed away in infancy.
Charles and Pauline started farming near Milligan. In March 1918,they moved to their farm near Fairmont, where they made their home. Due to failing health, Charles was confined to the hospital the last three weeks of his life.
Charles loved farming and was always willing to lend a helping hand to his neighbors and friends. He was a kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather. His later years were brightened by the nearness of his grandchildren, whom he dearly loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jim, Albert, and William, half-sisters, Marie Becwar, Katie Kabley, and Tena Camps, and byhalf-brothers, Mike, John and Frank.
Those remaining to mourn his departure are his wife, Pauline; two sons, John and Richard, daughters-in-law, Mildred and Valasta; and 3 grandchildren; two brothers, Joe and Tom, two sisters Anna Zeleny, and Theresa Sluka; a host of relatives, and friends.
