SAM BURING, 87, of Memphis, retired 55-year employee of L&N Railroad, died Friday at Memphis Jewish Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Jacobs Memorial Chapel at Beth El Emeth Cemetery on Horn Lake Road with burial there. He was a member of Anshei Sphard Beth El Emeth Congregation and B'nai B'rith. Canale Funeral Directors has charge. Mr. Buring, the husband of Hilda S. Buring, also leaves a brother, Ralph Buring of Atlanta. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be sent to Memphis Jewish Home or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
