Viola Jane Bancroft was born to Betty Jane Towendolly and Zale Aldon Bancroft. She is survived by 4 children ,including, Bobby Larkin of Yucca Valley Ca, Charles White of Yucca Valley ca, and Buffy Mcnees of Minnesota.She is survived by 10 grandchildren, Bo Dupper, Elizabeth Dupper, Connor Larkin, Benjamin Larkin, Tyler White, Warren White, Kali White, Faith Evans, Heaven Mcnees, Matthew Mcnees and Hunter White. She was also survived by sisters Jessie Howard and Ila Schunter, nieces Kimberly Martin and Kali Braden. She was preceded in death by her sisters Sandra Linn Martin , Victoria Robinett Grounds ( Ruthie Bancroft) and a grandaughter Rebbeca Dupper. Her ashes were interred at Black Canyon Indian Burial Ground with her mother Betty Towendolly ,and many of her Tau-hin-dauli ancestors. She was a Wintu Indian from the Nom-Ti-Pom band. Indian burial ceremony preformed by Wintu Elder Frank Lapena and Linda Malone.
