Deceased Name: Herbert A. Boerger 74, of Decatur died yesterday in Adams County Memorial Hospital. The Decatur native was a retired farmer and also retired from Hoosier Wire Die in 1984 after 25 years. He was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, LaVerne M; daughters, Sheryl Howard and Patricia Braun both of Decatur, Carolyn Harris of Selma and Kristine Boerger of Normal, Ill.; sons, Dennis C. of Fort Wayne and David A. of Decatur; a brother, Otto l. of Decatur; 10 grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday in St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fuelling. Calling is 10 to 12, and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Sunday in Zwick-Sefton & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday in the church. Burial will be with military honors in the church cemetery.
