Freemont Willis Battles
February 25, 1969 - July 27, 2012

Marietta β€” Freemont Willis Battles was born Feb. 25, 1969, to Betty Jean Battles and Ramond Willis. He was raised by his grandparents, Lola and Loma Willis.



He graduated from Turner High School in 1987. Freemont accepted Christ and was a member of Nazarene Baptist Church. He was previously employed at Toi's Restaurant in Ardmore. He enjoyed fishing, video games and spending time with his family. He married Cory Wicker in December 1999.



His infectious smile captured many and his attitude was unique. Although Freemont encountered a lot of rainy days and stormy nights, he never complained. On Friday, July 27, 2012, he went to be with the Lord.



He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Cory; four sons, Raymont Willis of Greenville, and Bobby, Albert and Claudell Wicker of Ardmore, one daughter, Macey Willis of Ardmore; numerous other relatives; and a host of friends.



Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Nazarene Baptist Church. Services are under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home.
