Funeral services for Paskel Dale Bevan will be held Monday, September 6, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Friends Free Will Baptist Church in Seminole County. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Paskel Dale Bevan was born April 15, 1946 in Fairfield, Alabama to James Olen and Emily (Mullinax) Bevan. He passed away Friday, September 3, 2010 at his home in Seminole County at the age of 64.

Paskel had been a resident of Seminole County most all of his life having graduated from Strother High School in1964. He and Kathy Minnie Rowan were married March 12, 1966 in Stigler, Oklahoma. Paskel was the owner and operator of Seminole Sheet Metal for many years. He was also a longtime minister of the Friends Free Will Baptist Church of Seminole County. Paskel also enjoyed reading his bible and helping build missionary churches.

He is preceded in death by his father, J.O. Bevan; one brother, Larry Bevan; and one sister, Ida Mae VanZant.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Bevan of Seminole; one son, P.D. Bevan and wife Lori of Seminole; three daughters, Charlotte Bevan of Midwest City, Louise Webb and husband James of Seminole and Patricia Bevan and husband Darin of Mustang; two sisters, Charlsie Rich and husband Don of Seminole and Sharen Green of Sallisaw. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.

Serving as active pallbearer will be P.D. Bevan, Darin Branscum, James Webb, Brett Webb, Trey King, and Richard Underwood.

Honorary Bearers include David and Kenneth Bevan and Mark Rich.

Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah and officiated by Rev. Berton Perry and assisted by Rev. Jim Eastep and Rev. Robert Hall.

Family will be receiving friends Sunday at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
