AIKMAN--HUGH passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, April 10, 2002 at the age of 82 years. He is predeceased by his parents James and Stuart Aikman; brothers James, Kenneth and Gordon; his friend and brother-in-law Bill Armstrong and son-in-law Jim Nestor. Hugh is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Hazel; five children Lynn (Bob) Mann, Hazel Nestor, Hugh William "Bill" (Julie); Heather (Joe) Cooper and Karen (Milton) Renner; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Hugh was born in Glasgow, Scotland, July 27, 1919 and moved with his parents to Canada when he was 5 years old. Hugh started his printing trade with Eaton's catalogue in Winnipeg. He served with the R.C.A.F. 135th Fighter Squadron from 1941 - 45. After working for Advocate Printers in Winnipeg, he came to Regina in 1951 and joined Commercial Printers until his retirement in 1984.
