98, a resident of Chamisal, born on December 8, 1910, passed away peacefully in her family's home on Sunday, December 28, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Petro Lino Dominguez and son, Joe. Ofresinia was a generous and loving mother and grandmother who was very proud of her family. She was strong willed and very kind hearted, which she demonstrated through her active participation at the San Antonio de Padua Parish in Peñasco and the Carmelita Society. Ofresinia is survived by her three daughters, Theresa Jaramillo, Rebecca Montoya and Reyna Dominguez; son, Jacob Dominguez; 26 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Public visitation was Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Peñasco, rosary followed at 3:00 p.m. A second rosary was recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church, burial followed at the Chamisal lower cemetery.
