Oldest son of Absalom and Catherine Heimbach Blyler of Limestone Township, Union County. Daniel was a shoemaker by trade and had his shop near his home, one mile from Millmont, near the foot of Jacks Mountain. He and his wife, Mary Ann Rearick Blyler, lived on the south side of Penns Creek, one mile from Milmont, and had eleven children, of which seven died at a very young age.
