Reese was born Oct. 29, 1905, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Frederick and Esther Reese. He was owner and operator of Fred Reese Air Service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine; one son, George Frederick Reese III, and one sister, Mary Frances Weeks.
Reese is survived by his daughter, Nancy Reese Barrett of Shawnee; daughter-in-law, Kay Phillips Reese of Grand Haven, Mich.; son and daughter-in-law, John E. Reese and Sandra Stephens of Anchorage, Alaska; grandchildren, Josh and Kari Barrett of Tulsa, Jack and Tiffany Barrett of Arlington, Tex., and John T. and Daniel B. Reese; three great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
Memorial will be 10 a.m. Jan. 6 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church with the Rev. Art Scrutchins officiating. Gaskill Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.
