Byron graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1975.
He served his county in the U.S. Air Force from 1984 until 1990 and married Felicia Alford in 2003.
Byron was a computer technician for the Department of Defense, Finance and Accounting Division and an avid sports fan.
Byron is survived by his loving wife, Felicia Dailey; parents, Margaret and Ralph; sisters, Brenda Conaway (Dennis), Lois Jerolleman (Harry) and Deborah Dailey; sister-in-law, Megan VanRooy Dailey; and a niece, Siobhan Dailey.
A brother, Bill Dailey, preceded him in death.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Final care and arrangements are entrusted to Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel.
