Richard Coopman, 52, of Reno and Berkeley, Calif., died Nov. 1, in a San Francisco hospital.
A former president of Nevada Eletronics, in Reno, he was president of Major "D" Corporation, a subsidiary of Stone Enterprises, Inc., of Pebble Beach, Calif.
He had previously owned Coopman Electric Co., in San Francisco.
He was a member of the Crocker Masonic Lodge No. 454, and the Electrical Contractors Association of San Francisco.
Surviving are his widow, Shirley, and a stepdaughter, Sheryl Clements, of Sparks; a son, Richard, of Saratoga, Calif.; daughters, Jeanette Hoster, of San Roman, Calif., Cathy Richardson, Lori Coopman, and Barbara Coopman, all of Saratoga; his mother, Emily Coopman, of Berkeley; brothers, Edwin, of San Francisco, James, of Visalia, Calif., Ernest, of Marysville, Calif., Thomas, of Castro Valley, Calif., and Ted, of Frenson, Calif., and sisters, Maude Chimo, of frenso, Gertrude Garathy, and Susan Rodericks, both of Berkeley, and Alice Ellis of Moraga, Calif.
A memorial service was conducted Nov. 4, in Berkeley, and burial followed in the Chilcoot, Calif. Cemetery.
