Judith M. Thomas, of Hanover, entered into God's eternal care December 21, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Anthony J. Thomas for fifty years.

Born March 17, 1938, in New Oxford, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence C. and Helena C. (Felty) Bevenour.

Judy was a 1956 graduate of Delone Catholic High School, a member of Sacred Heart Basilica in Edgegrove, the Rosary Confraternity, and volunteered at the Conewago Fire Co. with their monthly chicken pot pie dinners.

She was retired from H & S Supply Co. in New Oxford, where she was the secretary.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are five children, Jody Groft and husband, Barry of Edgegrove, Ann Mathias and husband, Bill, Anthony Thomas Jr. and wife Michelle all of Hanover, Theresa Thomas of Gettysburg, Joseph Thomas and wife Rhonda of New Oxford; ten grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; four siblings: Joann Billman of Towson, MD, Josita Smith of Norristown, Julie Thomason of Brookhaven, Jerry Bevenour of NC, and Jane Blevins of Virginia Beach, VA.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and John Bevenour.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am. December 23, 2011, at Sacred Heart Basilica in Edgegrove, with Rev. Lawrence J. McNeil officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
