Brittania Lucille (Dodd) Bastain passed away October 13, 2008. She was born on August 4, 1925, in Smith Point, MD, the daughter of Lazarus Peter and Mary Frances (Bowie) Dodd.
In addition to her parents, Brittania was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Leo Bastain; one son, Paul Lester Zanko; and one sister, Emma Scott.
She is survived by one son, Peter Edward Zanko; two daughters, Sharon Bastain Amabile and Juanita Sartori; two step-children, Linwood Leo Bastain and Barbara P. Griffith; one sister, Mary Estelle Evans; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation and Funeral Service held at Nanjemoy Baptist Church, Nanjemoy, MD. Interment in church cemetery.
