ARCHIE BITTLE, EUGENE, DIES

Archie E. Bittle, 69, Eugene, died Thursday at a Jefferson City hospital. Mr. Bittle was bom at Eugene on April 20, 1903, the son of Albert and Margaret Winters Bittle. He was married on Dec. 24, 1922, at Etterville, to the former Miss Mildred Bond who survives.

Mr. Bittle was a member of the Eugene Christian Church.

Other survivors include: Four sons, Kenneth Kttte, Cabool, Windell Bittle, Mtn. Home, Ark., Wayne Bittle, Crocker, and Sammie Bittte, Eldon; two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Jenkins, Tuscumbia, and Mrs. Ruby Jeffries, Eldon; two brothers, Lloyd Bittle, Tuscumbia, and Ralph Bittle, Eugene; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Shackleford, Tuscumbia, and Mrs. Beatrice Hayes, Olean, and 15 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Eldon, with the Rev. A. L. Alexander officiating. Burial will be in the Eugene Cemetery.
