PULASKI — Deborah Anne Akers, age 48 of Holiday, FL and formerly of Pulaski passed away on Friday, April 4, 2003. She was born July 15, 1954 in Washington, DC. She is preceded in death by her parents, George (Hus) & Mary Akers. Surviving are her son, Greg Akers, Pulaski; brother & sister-in-law, Kevin & Kathy Akers and a nephew, Jason Akers, all of FL; aunts, Geneva Rooney, Pulaski, Millie Jacobs and Marie Patrick, both of Maryland; cousins, Gail Sutphin and Brenda Hamblin, Newbern, David and Mark Rooney, Pulaski; close friend, Diane Prescott, FL. Graveside memorial services will be held Saturday, 5 p.m. at Allison Family Cemetery, Allisonia. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is handling local arrangements for the family.
